Top 10 in e-commerce exceed 20 billion

The top 10 B2C online stores in Germany generate 20.8 billion euros – which represents around 40 percent of the turnover of the 1,000 largest e-commerce retailers in Germany. In contrast, the revenues of the 501 to 1,000th places together amount to only EUR 3.5 billion (6.7 percent). The German e-commerce market is therefore highly concentrated.
